Murari 4K Record-Breaking Advance Bookings: Murari is a 2001 blockbuster supernatural family drama written and directed by Krishna Vamsi. In the movie in which superstar Mahesh Babu played the titular role, Sonali Bendre played the female lead. The movie is going to release in the upgraded 4k version once again on August 9, marking the 'Guntur Kaaram' actor's birthday.

In Hyderabad alone, the advance ticket sales set a new record in the history of re-releases. In addition, the movie sold as many as 38.4 K tickets on August 3. Mahesh Babu's Murari holds the record of selling the highest number of tickets and the fastest Rs 75 Lakh on the opening day of the bookings.
Murari 4K Pre-Sales To Touch Rs 2 Crore!
On August 4, Murari sold 26.61 K tickets. Until the end of the day on August 4, the re-release version of Murari (4k) sold about 65.01 K tickets, which is a record. Going by the information that is available currently, the movie's re-release crossed Rs 1 Crore in Hyderabad in under 20 hours. By the time of its release on August 9, the movie is expected to make Rs 2 Crore.
Murari Synopsis
The movie begins in the 19th century with a Zamindar who decides to steal the Panchaloha idol and sell it to the Britishers to pay off his debuts. His gruesome death due to supernatural reasons results in a generational curse. Every 48 years, a person (male) dies in his lineage and tension mounts as Murari is on the line.
Murari was produced under the banner Ram Prasad Arts and Mani Sharma composed the film's entire music and tunes, making the film one of his most successful albums. C. Ramprasad cranked the camera while Krishna Vamsi also took care of the film's editing. Shoban wrote the film's dialogues.
