Nagarjuna Akkineni secured a decent hit in his sentimental Sankranti season this year with Naa Saami Ranga, which was released on January 14. The movie which also stars Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun in key roles alongside Nagarjuna, was directed by Vijay Binni, a choreographer, who made his directorial debut.

Naa Saami Ranga is the official remake of
a Malayalam film 'Porinju Mariam Jose,' which was tweaked to suit the nativity of the audiences. Naa Saami Ranga met with a decent response at the box office. Fans of the veteran are thrilled about his makeover and entire get-up as 'Kishtaiyya,' and are heaping praises on several aspects of the film.
