Akkineni Nagarjuna, who is back with a big bang for the 'limitless entertainment' through Bigg Boss Telugu 8 is looking supercharged and ever-charming as the season's host. The launch episode will feature as many as 14 contestants who are sent inside the jungle-themed specially erected Bigg Boss Telugu 8 set at the Annapurna Studios.

Among the contestants' names that went viral, a few have not made it to the final round and a few have dropped out at the last minute. One name that was never on the rumoured contestants' list is Nabeel Afridi. Nabeel is a social media personality who rose to popularity with his YouTube channel called 'Warangal Diaries.'

In his Instagram bio, Nabeel Afridi described himself as an actor, director, editor, and filmmaker. He has about 445 K followers on Instagram and his YouTube channel has about 16.2 Lakh followers. It is learned that Nabeel has been giving interviews with Bigg Boss Telugu makers since season 4 and he finally made it to the latest season Bigg Boss Telugu 8.

For this brand new season too, the housemates are going to be a mix of small-screen celebrities, actors, actresses, and social media influencers. They are all going to take part in the reality show together under a roof as groups and individuals. A series of games, contests, and challenges are thrown at them during weekdays and the weekends are reserved for the host's review.

The names of the confirmed contestants for the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 are:
Aditya Om, Shekhar Basha, Yashmi Gowda, Vishnu Priya, Abhai Naveen, Prerana, Nainika, Sonia Akula, Nikhil, Bezawada Bebakka, Seetha, and Naga Manikanta among others.

List of Names For Back-Up

The show's makers have also put a couple of other finalised contestants as backup. Jabardasth Rocking Rakesh, model-cum-doctor Ravi Teja, news reader Kalyani, and Prithvi Raj.

The names of Shanoor Sana, Indraaniel Varma, Anjali Pavan, Nandu Ramisetty, Khayyum Ali, and Vismaya Sri have done the rounds as the rumoured contestants. While Nandu Ramisetty was not approached at all, the others have been offered a chance and they declined it citing various reasons. Indraaniel Varma, Anjali Pavan, and Vismaya Sri have backed out.
