Pawan Kalyan-Sujeeth's OG Release Trailer Release Update: OG aka They Call Him OG is the gangster crime thriller starring Pawan Kalyan in the title role of Ojas Gambheera. The movie written and directed by Sujeeth features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist.

DVV Danayya, who produced the epic RRR movie is funding the project which is going to hit the screens worldwide on September 27. The makers of the film are almost nearing completion of the shooting and are releasing timely updates to keep the fans hooked to the OG movie.

Now that Pawan Kalyan, the founder of the Janasena party is back to his schedule, the work is expected to be completed at lightning speed.

OG Synopsis

Ojas Gambheera is a ruthless don who goes into exile. However, after 10 years, he returns to Mumbai to face Omi Bhau, a crime lord.

OG Trailer Ready

This action film's director Sujeeth recently spoke about Pawan Kalyan and his OG movie in an interview at length. He said that the movie has several Japanese references and features the martial art Aikido.

Reportedly, Sujeeth mentioned, "I watch a lot of Japanese films. Kalyan garu also loves them and he named his son after his favourite Japanese director Akira Kurosawa. The OG's O is Ojas and it means 'Master.' While Kalyan garu intentionally added many Japanese references to his films earlier, we did not plan on any this time but the story has scope for it organically. He also got trained in Aikido and shot for a fight sequence for three days, which we intended to wrap up in half a day. He practiced martial arts to attain perfection in giving the shot," said Sujeeth.

Sujeeth also said that the trailer was shot and is ready and will make an official announcement about the release shortly.

OG Cast

The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the title role of OG aka Ojas Gambheera. Emraan Hashmi is making his Telugu debut with the movie and is playing the antagonist Omi Bhau. Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uttaman, Abhimanyu Singh, and Ajay Gosh are playing important roles in the film.

Bankrolled under the DVV Danayya Entertainment banner and helmed by DVV Danayya, the movie was written and directed by Sujeeth. Ravi K. Chandran cranked the camera and Naveen Nooli worked as the editor. Thaman S is composing the film's entire background score and music.
