Pavithra Jayaram-Chandu Challa's Death: Chandu's Wife Shilpa OPENS UP About His Extra Marital Affair

Pavithra Jayaram-Chandu's Extra Marital Affair Takes A Murky Turn: Chandrakanth Challa aka Chandu's suicide following the death of his live-in partner, Telugu TV actress Pavithra Jayaram brought his dark and dirty life to the media. The small-screen actor ignored his mother, wife, and two children to live together with Pavithra Jayaram. He was found hanging from the house where Pavithra Jayaram and he lived in Hyderabad.

Chandu and Pavithra Jayaram were living together for the last five years and have been threatening Chandu's first wife Shilpa, whom he married in 2015, after a relationship of 11 years. After meeting Pavithra, he abused his wife with whom he had two children.

After the incident shook the entire industry and the television viewers who were curious about these two deaths, Chandu's wife Shilpa spoke to the media at length about her plight.

Chandu's Wife Shilpa Talks About Pavithra Jayaram

Speaking to a popular YouTube channel, Shilpa said, "I have never told anybody about the domestic abuse that I was subjected to, especially during the lockdown period. Ours was an 11-year-long relationship that turned into marriage. At first, he was all nice and caring. When he entered the industry, he mentioned me to his colleagues and told them that I had settled his life.

But after meeting Pavithra Jayaram, things completely changed. He started beating me ever since I came to know of their affair. Chandu had told me that he and Pavithra Jayaram are going to Bengaluru for shooting but they went on a holiday to Ooty. They made so many reels and posted them on social media handles. It was all a torture to me.

She is much older compared to me and she called me up directly saying "He is my husband. Do whatever you want." I also asked Pavithra's children about their affair and they said my mother and Chandu will do whatever they want, we won't object."

She added, "He told me that Pavithra had holes in her heart and that he had to take care of her. He stopped talking to me, coming to the house, and even never signed our children's school forms. But, he signed in the father's column for Pavithra Jayaram's two children.

My mother-in-law is very supportive and I share everything with her. Everybody thinks we are mother and daughter. We have been waiting for him to return to us and take responsibility for the children. But today, he is no more," cried an emotional Shilpa.

Chandu's mother and Shilpa's mother-in-law told a YouTube channel, "She prevented Chandu from coming to our house, his wife, and children for the last five years. She married him and now she killed him. They both mentioned that they got married and ignored our family. She took away our son from us first and now he committed suicide leaving us in deep sorrow.

Pavithra's children are of 20 years and own children are just about five and eight years. They had it all but today my daughter-in-law and two grandchildren became orphans. He never returned to us."

Chandu Challa committed suicide on May 17, a few days after Pavithra Jayaram's accidental death. He spoke to the YouTube channel and asked the media to not spread negative rumours about Pavithra Jayaram. Before taking the drastic step, Chandu sent a text on whatsapp chat to his friends saying that he cannot live with Pavithra Jayaram and want to end his life.
