Power star Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated upcoming film 'OG' written and directed by Sujeeth is back in the headlines. The movie which is being helmed by the makers of the epic RRR, DVV Danayya, will mark Emraan Hashmi's Telugu debut in an antagonist's role.

OG (They call him OG) is on the sets and the post-production works are also simultaneously happening along with the film's shooting. The actor-turned-politician's film is in the news for an update about its much-hyped theatrical release date.

Pawan Kalyan's OG Release Date Out

According to the latest information that hit the social media platforms and sent the fans of power star Pawan Kalyan into celebratory mode, the release date of OG is going to be September 27, this year. The official announcement is yet to be made but the makers and the insiders suggest that OG will hit the screens worldwide on September 27.

The movie was officially launched in April 2023 and the shooting has been happening since then. Due to Pawan Kalyan's political commitments and multiple projects, the filming didn't go at a stretch. The 'Hungry Cheetah' glimpse of Pawan Kalyan sent his fans into euphoria with the background score and the screen presence of Pawan Kalyan, who even mouthed dialogues in Marathi.

OG Cast

This high-octane actioner which features Pawan Kalyan in the titular role of Ojas Gambheera aka OG also features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, making his Telugu debut. Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, Abhimanyu Singh, Ajay Ghosh, and Subhalekha Sudhakar among others played pivotal roles in the film.

This Sujeeth's directorial has Ravi K. Chandran as its cinematographer. Naveen Nooli is on board as the film's editor. Thaman S is composing the entire soundtrack and music for this movie. DVV Danayya is funding the movie on a humongous budget of about Rs 350 Crore under his DVV Entertainment banner.
