Payal Rajput Threatens Legal Action On Her 'Rakshana' Filmmakers: Actress Payal Rajput, who rose to stardom with Ajay Bhupathi's 'RX 100' movie in Tollywood, which also marks her Telugu debut, is in the headlines for murky reasons. The actress's upcoming film 'Rakshana,' makers have threatened to have her banned from Tollywood.

Payal, who scored a massive hit and won heaps of appreciation for her character Sailaja in Ajay Bhupathi's recent film 'Mangalavaaram,' which talks about sexual disorders in women, has clarified the entire issue through her Instagram post.

Clarifying the issue, Payal released a statement through her posts and mentioned, "I have a film, "Rakshana," shot in 2019 and 2020 originally named "5Ws." The release was delayed and now they're trying to benefit from my recent success without clearing dues and demanding promotion presence. My team communicates my unavailability due to prior commitments, but they threaten to ban me from Telugu cinema.

Our team attempted to negotiate for digital promotion of "Rakshana" with Payal, suggesting clearing dues with compensation first. However, they refused to compromise, using my name in a way that tarnishes my image, which is unacceptable.

In recent meetings, they used inappropriate language, stating that the distributor asked for Payal to showcase certain assets, and if she didn't, they wouldn't accept the film. We are now considering legal action because they are not settling the payments and planning to release the film without my authorization or consent, (sic)."

The 31-year-old actress was a Punjabi actress and debuted with 'Channa Mereya' in 2017 after playing various roles in Hindi television soap operas. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress. Later, she was seen in Veerey Ki Wedding in 2018, a Bollywood production.
