Popular YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswant & His Brother Arrested For Taking Drugs At Home; Police Launch Probe

Popular YouTuber, Bigg Boss Telugu fame and upcoming actor Shanmukh Jaswant, who enjoys a huge fanbase across the two Telugu-speaking states, was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly consuming drugs.

As per the updates that are pouring in on social media, Shanmukh Jaswant and his brother are caught at their home having drugs by the cops. They were arrested and an investigation was launched.

Shanmukh Jaswant and his elder brother Sampath Vijay have been caught by the police who took them into custody after finding out about their consumption and possession of illegal substances. Following a police complaint registered by a woman, supposedly Sampath Vijay's ex-lover, the Narsingh police approached Sampath's house where the duo was whiling away time smoking weed, reportedly.

Sampath Vinay's Ex-Lover Files A Complaint

Shanmukh Jaswant's brother Sampath was in a relationship with a woman for the last ten years. The duo also got engaged three years ago. However, he started maintaining distance. He even got married to another woman about 20 days ago, which irked the jolted ex-lover. She then proceeded to file a complaint with the police and booked Sampath for cheating on her.

Police, who received the complaint set out to Sampath's flat along with the complainant. Fortunately for them, Shanmukh Jaswant was seen consuming drugs at that moment, while Sampath wasn't there. Police took Shanmukh into custody immediately, along with his brother. More updates on the case are yet to be officially announced.

Meanwhile, Shanmukh Jaswant was earlier booked in a hit-and-run case just a month ago. In an accident case registered in Hyderabad, he is the accused. Earlier, Shanmukh was once caught drunk and driving.

The 29-year-old YouTuber was popular through his short films and his love track with another YouTuber Deepthi Sunaina. The duo was a social media Jodi until Shanmukh's Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 stint led to their immediate break-up after almost ten years of relationship.

Shanmukh belongs to Visakhapatnam and finished his graduation in Business Administration from GITAM. He acted in a full-length film titled 'Nannu Dochukunduvate.'
