Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 Trade Expert Prediction: Allu Arjun is all over the headlines today and rightfully so. After all, his much anticipated release Pushpa 2 (Pushpa 2: The Rule) is set to hit the big screens on December 5. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is the sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Touted to be an action drama, Pushpa 2 also features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in the lead.

To note, Pushpa 2: The Rule is slated to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali languages and is one of the most expensive films in India with a budget of Rs 400-500cr. Interestingly, Pushpa 2 will feature Allu Arjun in the lead as he reprises the role of Pushpa Raj. On the other hand, Rashmika is seen in the role of Allu Arjun's love interesting Srivalli. As just few hours are left for the big release of Pushpa 2, there have been speculations about its box office collection in India.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated, "The craze of Pushpa 2 is quite strong. Really hope that tomorrow the film is releasing, it is a non holiday, it is a working day, it's Thursday. I am still expecting a fantastic start at the box office". He also emphasised, "The opening day collection should be more than 135cr in India all languages combined". While Girish Johar emphasised that Pushpa 2 opening day collections should breach Rs 135 crores mark, there are chances that it can also touch Rs 150 crores mark as well based on the response from the audience.

Pushpa 2: The Rule To Beat RRR On Opening Day

If the reports turned out to be true, Pushpa 2 is likely to emerge as the highest earning Telugu film and will be beating Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and RRR on the opening day. To note, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali 2 had made an opening day collection of Rs 121 crores while RRR raked in Rs 133 crores on its opening day. It will be interesting to see how many records Pushpa 2 will be breaking post its release at the box office.
