Pushpa 2 Box Office: Will Allu Arjun's Sequel Hit Rs 1000 Crore Worldwide? Trailer Amplifies Expectations

Allu Arjun made history with just the theatrical trailer drop of his anticipated sequel Pushpa 2. The trailer won the internet and is the fastest movie trailer to have reached 40 Million views with over 1.4 Million likes, cleanly sweeping the existing records within just a couple of hours.

Pushpa 2 is coming to theatres worldwide on December 5 in five languages. The excitement reached an all-time high and the trailer only amplified the expectations that are beyond the sky.

Pushpa 2 To Surpass Rs 1000 Crore?

With the theatrical trailer trending at number 1 in Telugu on YouTube and the movie trending on all social media platforms, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 will surely have a cakewalk at the box office worldwide. While fans expect that the sequel will definitely hit the Rs 1000 Crore mark at the box office, how many days it takes to achieve the target is the topic of discussion.

To date, only Prabhas' recent film, a sci-fi thriller with a star-studded cast, Kalki 2898 AD was able to claim to have made Rs 1000 Crore worldwide by the end of its theatrical run. However, given the euphoria and hype around Sukumar's directorial sequel, Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is going to break it all and re-write records history.

Pushpa Synopsis

Allu Arjun played the role of Pushpa Raj, who rose to become the leader of the red sandalwood smuggling racket fighting against odds with his wit and confidence. Banwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil), who comes to crack a whip on the rampant smuggling activities and nab Pushpa Raj locks horns with him on the verge of his nuptials to Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna). The sequel is about the epic face-off between Pushpa Raj and Banwar Singh Shekawat.

The movie stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, Jagadeep Prathap Bandari as Kesava, Sunil as Mangalam Srinu, Anasuya Bharadwaj as Dakshayani, Rao Ramesh as MP Bhumireddy Siddappa Naidu, Dhananjaya as Jaali Reddy, Ajay as Molleti Mohan, Sritej as Molleti Dhrama Raj, Mime Gopi as Chennai Murugan, Brahmaji as Sub-Inspector Kupparaj, and Kalpalatha as Parvatamma. In addition to the cast reprising their roles in the sequel, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj are the new actors who will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.

Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie was co-written by Srikanth Vissa. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek cranked the camera and AA Films is distributing the movie. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Sukumar Writings, the movie has its editing done by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. Pushpa 2 marks yet another epic collaboration between the successful trio Sukumar-Allu Arjun-Devi Sri Prasad.
