Pushpa 2 Day 1 Gross Surpasses RRR: Allu Arjun's hyped sequel, the most awaited releases of the year, Pushpa 2 The Rule opened to theatres amid immense hype and trendsetting box office figures worldwide on Dec 5. Written and directed by Sukumar, the sequel starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil is raving positive reviews all over from all sections of audiences. Critics have some complaints about the narrative and story but Allu Arjun steals the entire show with his impeccable and Oscar Award-worthy performance as Pushparaj.

Allu Arjun's sequel Pushpa 2, which made a pre-release business of over Rs 1100 Crore, single-handedly, registered a difficult to achieve feat by becoming the only film to date to have the biggest opening ever. Pushpa 2 Synopsis

Pushparaj expands his smuggling deal internationally as Shekawat vows revenge. Meanwhile, Pushparaj decides to make Siddappa Naidu a Chief Minister. Amid his half-brother's taunts, Shekawat's challenges, and expanding his kingdom, Pushparaj seals his position as the syndicate head.

The movie stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, Jagadeep Prathap Bandari as Kesava, Sunil as Mangalam Srinu, Anasuya Bharadwaj as Dakshayani, Rao Ramesh as MP Bhumireddy Siddappa Naidu, Dhananjaya as Jaali Reddy, Ajay as Molleti Mohan, Sritej as Molleti Dhrama Raj, Mime Gopi as Chennai Murugan, Brahmaji as Sub-Inspector Kupparaj, and Kalpalatha as Parvatamma. In addition to the cast reprising their roles in the sequel, Jagapathi Babu was seen playing a pivotal role in the film. Sreeleela sizzled in the special item track 'Kissik.'

Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie was co-written by Srikanth Vissa. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek cranked the camera and AA Films is distributing the movie. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Sukumar Writings, the movie has its editing done by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. Pushpa 2 marks yet another epic collaboration between the successful trio Sukumar-Allu Arjun-Devi Sri Prasad.
