Pushpa 2 OTT Release: Streaming Rights To Allu Arjun's Actioner Are Bought By THIS Platform For A WHOPPING

Pushpa 2 The Rule Digital Rights: The highly awaited movie of the year, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 The Rule, which was in the making for the last three years, finally made its grand and hyped theatrical release worldwide on record number of screens on December 5. The Sukumar's directorial started making waves even before its theatrical release with its teaser, trailer, songs, and the outstanding advance bookings from all over the world.

The movie opened to highly positive reviews and outstanding comments from fans on Dec 4 where it premiered across the two Telugu states. Film buffs are showering the actor and director for bringing out a paisa-vasool actioner which offers several hair-raising sequences.

On its opening day, Pushpa 2 earned a massive Rs 283 Crore worldwide approximately with Rs 95 Crore from Telugu states. The total collection in India is Rs 175.1 Crore approximately on day 1.

Netflix Secures Streaming Rights

Netflix India reportedly spent a bomb in the form of Rs 270 Crore to secure the digital streaming rights of Pushpa 2 The Rule movie for all languages. The first part, Pushpa 1 The Rise is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The first part was sold for Rs 50 Crore back in 2021.

In addition, it is now being reported that the genius writer-director Sukumar has left an interesting post-credits scene as a lead to Pushpa 2's sequel, Pushpa 3. The movie, which turned out well, sitting with the expectations, also has an interesting twist that will set the tone gasping for more. The filmmaker was keen on leaving a cliffhanger that would surprise the viewers, reportedly.

Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie was co-written by Srikanth Vissa. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek cranked the camera and AA Films is distributing the movie. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Sukumar Writings, the movie has its editing done by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. Pushpa 2 marks yet another epic collaboration between the successful trio Sukumar-Allu Arjun-Devi Sri Prasad.
