Pushpa 2 was all set to be released in the month of August initially. However, there has been the latest buzz that it may get postponed. How? Well, the makers intended to wrap up the project by June, however, owing to the complexity of the project, it might require another month to complete the shooting of the movie, as per the latest reports.

A post in Twitter by Sreedhar Pillai, an industry tracker, has been widely circulated that claimed that the movie is indeed postponed, "Huge buzz in trade circles in south India that the most awaited #Pushpa2 scheduled for Aug 15 release has been pushed! No official confirmation so far."

Why Is Allu Arjun Starrer Pushpa 2 Postponed?

The director of the movie, Sukumar, who is known for his attention to details, has reportedly envisioned a few scenes differently for which he would like to reshoot a few scenes for a better visual experience. According to the reports, Fahadh Faasil, who is playing the antagonist in the film, has already been committed to the dates of the shooting and currently filming the project, which is going to take place till July.

On the other hand, editor Karthika Srinivas parted ways with the director after years of collaboration, and Navin Nooli has replaced the editor. However, the director is not ready to go ahead with the current state of VFX in the movie, which is supposed to be a crucial part. Thus, the director has asked for more time for desired quality. Considering these points, it is highly unlikely to release the movie on August 15, when the movie was supposed to be released.
