On Tuesday, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner provided an update on the 9-year-old boy's condition, revealing that he has been declared brain dead. The question now remains: will Sritej survive? Since the Sandhya Theater stampede, 9-year-old Sritej has suffered a severe brain injury due to lack of oxygen. Dr. Christina, the Health Secretary of Telangana, assured that the boy's condition is being closely monitored and that there is still a possibility of recovery. However, according to the latest update on Sritej's health, he has been declared brain dead, as reported by Mathrubhumi English. The child remains on ventilator support.

Sritej is admitted to KIMS Hospital. According to the medical bulletin of the hospital, Sritej continues to be in the "Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)." According to the reports, "He is on minimal inotropes. Vital parameters are stable, and he is tolerating feeds well. Given his static neurological status, a tracheostomy is being planned to facilitate weaning from the ventilator (Sic)."

During the stampede at Sandhya Theater on December 4, Sritej's mother, Revathi, tragically lost her life. Allu Arjun, the lead actor of Pushpa 2, was initially arrested in connection with the incident, but he was released on Saturday morning. The actor was granted bail after submitting a personal bond of ₹50,000.

Allu Arjun then took to Instagram to extend his heartfelt condolence for the injured boy. He wrote, "I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident."
