Directed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun stepped into the shoes of 'Pushpa Raj' once again and returned on big screens after nearly three years with 'Pushpa 2'. The pan-India biggie sees Rashmika Mandanna reprising her iconic character 'Srivalli' and Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil as Pushpa's rival SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

Amid crazy anticipation, Pushpa 2 had a record-breaking opening in cinemas with a staggering opening day collection of Rs 164.25 cr (Telugu: 80.3 Cr ; Hindi: 70.3 Cr; Tamil: 7.7 Cr; Kannada: 1 Cr; Malayalam: 4.95 Cr).

On Friday (day 2), the film did witness a drop by 45.14% but it didn't affect its overall strong hold at ticket counters. According to Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 maintained its rage on Friday and cored roughly around Rs 90.2 cr (Telugu: 27.1 Cr; Hindi: 55 Cr; Tamil: 5.5 Cr; Kannada: 0.6 Cr; Malayalam: 1.9 Cr). As of now, the total 2-day nett collection of Allu Arjun's massy entertainer stands at around Rs 265 cr (including all langauges). Yes, you read that right!

As per reports, Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise Part 1 had grossed around Rs 226.3 cr (gross) in 2 weeks. Released on 17th December 2021, Pushpa 1 had reportedly raked in around Rs 178.25 cr in 1st week, followed by Rs 48.05 cr in week 2.
