Interestingly, Pushpa 2, which has been witnessing an impressive run at the worldwide box office, managed to create a record of becoming the fastest Indian film to cross Rs 850 crores mark. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 made a collection of Rs 8 crores in the overseas market on day 5 (first Monday) and the overseas collection stand at Rs 171 crores. To note, the worldwide box office collection of Pushpa 2 stands at Rs 880.30 crores after the first Monday.

Given the ongoing trend, Pushpa 2 will be having a decent hold at the box office today (day 6/ first Tuesday). The movie is expected to make a collection of Rs 5-8 crores in the overseas market today and is likely to touch Rs 900 crores mark at the worldwide box office. If the reports turned out to be true, Pushpa 2 will become the fastest Indian film to cross Rs 900 crores mark worldwide.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
