PV Sindhu's Destination Wedding On Dec 22: Badminton player and Olympian PV Sindhu will soon marry her boyfriend Venkata Sai Dutta, whom she has known for several years. The 29-year-old sports star is known for her epic wins in several international tournaments, which made India proud of her achievements, especially in the Olympics.

The wedding nuptials for PV Sindhu will be in the style of traditional Telugu rituals. Both the bride and groom-to-be are Telugu and their wedding is going to have a twist of Telugu events as well as the Sangeeth and Mehendi parties as pre-wedding festivities.

A palace-style heritage hotel was already booked as the venue would see several political leaders, Ministers, colleagues, and celebrities from the Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood fraternities.

Who Is PV Sindhu's Husband Venkata Sai Dutta?

PV Sindhu's soon-to-be husband Venkata Sai Datta is a native of Hyderabad. He works as an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies and both are said to be family friends.

Confirming the news, PV Sindhu's father, former Volleyball Player, NV Ramana mentioned, "The wedding preparations are on. This was the only possible window as Sindhu's schedule will be hectic from 2025. Two families have decided to conduct the wedding ceremony on December 22. Also, there will be a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. Sindhu will soon start her training later. The upcoming season is important to her."

PV Sindhu, who was the first Indian badminton player to reach the Olympic final during the 2016 Olympics held in Rio, is an Arjuna Awardee, a Khel Ratna awardee along with the coveted Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. Her most recent win is at the Syed Modi International tournament in Lucknow.

PV Sindhu's medals include two Olympic medals (Silver and Bronze), two Asian Games medals, and five World Championship medals. She held the world ranking of number 2 in badminton in 2017, her highest ranking to date.
