Raj Tarun OPENS UP About Lavanya: Raj Tarun, who has been facing several allegations by his ex-girlfriend Lavanya, finally opened up about the issue after several people turned up to project the real face of Lavanya through public TV channels. Reportedly, Lavanya, who served jail time for the consumption of drugs had been forcing people to consume substances. Not only that but she also filmed them consuming drugs and confiscated their phones to eventually blackmail them when required.

In a live interaction with the IDream media channel, Raj Tarun, whose movie 'Tiragabadara Saami; hit the screens last Friday spoke once and for all about the ongoing issue. He said, "First kindly ask me how I am doing. I am a little affected but I am better. Preeti is like my sister and a nice girl. Uday is almost like my brother. He even used to cook food for us at my home. I am aware but not sure about their drugs. I used to return home late after the shootings. I never saw them doing drugs but I am aware. All these days I have kept quiet because of my image and the only reason I hadn't opened up all these years was fearing defamation.

I now have all the proofs of Lavanya's latest relationship with FIRs, messages, and audio calls. She has drug consumption and peddling cases in police stations but she never consumed drugs in front of me except for once in Goa. I don't have anything against her. I am very badly hurt as Lavanya insulted and humiliated my parents.

The words her lawyer Dileep Sunkara used are unfortunate and I condemn them. He is an educated person and a Lawyer but his use of language is objectionable.

She wants to defame me and destroy my career, and my life. I want to proceed legally and avoid all this nuisance. I dated her from 2014 only until 2017. There was no physical relationship between us after 2017 even though we continued living in my house. She also blackmailed me after I broke up with her in 2017. She wants to keep everyone in her control so that she can play whatever card she likes. From now on, I will only proceed legally and refrain from making public statements.

In all this nuisance, I want to thank Sekhar Basha for taking a stand and coming out on my behalf voluntarily. If I am found guilty, I will come out and publicly apologize to everybody on my knees."
