Police Case Filed On Raj Tarun By His Girlfriend: Tollywood actor Raj Tarun, who is awaiting his upcoming film's theatrical release 'Tiragabadara Saami,' hit the headlines for the wrong reasons. His live-in partner and girlfriend of many years, Lavanya, filed a police complaint at Narsingi police station, Hyderabad.

Raj Tarun's girlfriend Lavanya has been living with the actor under the same roof since 2014. She alleged Raj Tarun had been seeing a Mumbai-based actress and was ignoring her. She felt abandoned as the actor was spending more time with the actress, in her complaint.

In her complaint, Lavanya also mentioned that she had faced threats from the family of the actress including her brother. Lavanya also stated that she and Raj Tarun wanted to get married at one point in time when they were growing stronger. She then begged the actress to stay away from Raj Tarun but to no avail. Finally, Lavanya approached the police station for justice.

Lavanya, who claimed to have been in a relationship with Raj Tarun since 2012 had earlier faced legal issues for her involvement in drugs, reportedly. Police have registered a case and the investigation is underway.

Raj Tarun REACTS To Lavanya's Complaint

Reacting to the ruckus and news, Raj Tarun spoke exclusively to TV9 and gave a detailed explanation. He said, "Lavanya was a nice person and she helped me when I came to Hyderabad. It is true that I was in a relationship from 2012 to 2017. But, her bad friendships and habits led her to do drugs. I was then blackmailed for money. I was also not in a physical relationship with her for the last seven years. I begged her to not have drugs while in my house but she never listened. When she was caught in the drug case, I broke up with her. She lived along with her boyfriend in my own house. I only let her stay as she threatened me with damage. I vacated my own house as she lived with her boyfriend.

She was then in a relationship with a guy named Masthan Sai. An FIR was also registered in Guntur by Lavanya on Masthan Sai. She sought help to get her married to Masthan Sai. I have the complaint copies, FIR copies, text messages, bank transactions, and images for my support. I only hesitated all these days fearing damage to my image."

Meanwhile, Raj Tarun, who was seen last in Nagarjuna's 'Naa Saami Ranga,' is working on 'Tiragabadara Saami.' The 32-year-old actor was a favourite YouTube hero with more than 52 short films to his credit. He always wanted to become a director but while assisting for a Tollywood production, he accidentally turned a hero. His acting debut with 'Uyyala Jampala' in 2014 also won him the first SIIMA award for the Best Debutant Actor category. His other notable films include Sukumar's production 'Kumari 21 F,' 'Cinema Choopistha Mava,' etc.

Raj Tarun's frequent onscreen pairing and off-screen friendship with Avika Gor was always a subject of interest and the duo had maintained good rapport. After Avika Gor, the actor was mostly seen in films with Hebbah Patel.

He scored back-to-back successes for a period but lacked successful films over the last couple of years. In addition to Tiragabadara Saami, Raj Tarun is also shooting for another film titled Bhale Unnade.
