Rakshana OTT Release Date & Platform Confirmed: Actress Payal Rajput, who rose to fame with her debut Telugu movie 'RX 100' opposite Karthikeya Gummakonda went on to do notable films in Tollywood later on. She is inclined towards female-centric scripts where she could do much more than dancing around or romancing a male lead. Her recent film is one such story of a female cop who takes things into her hands.

Titled 'Rakshana,' the movie which hit the headlines for allegedly cheating Payal Rajput, was Finally released theatrically on June 7. The actress claimed to have never received the full remuneration from the makers who cashed in on her successful film 'Mangalavaaram.' However, after the interference of the Council, the movie which was at first called '5 Ws' went unnoticed at the box office.

Rakshana Synopsis
ACP Kiran faces several challenges as she tries to nab a serial killer who is lurking in the shadows and killing women without a trace. She goes the extra mile by going beyond the system and when she realizes that there is no support for her, she goes ahead anyway stepping into the complex situations. The movie is reportedly based on the true crime events.

Rakshana OTT Release Date & Platform

The movie written, produced, and directed by Prandeep Thakore is gearing up for a digital streaming debut. The OTT rights are secured by Aha Video and the movie will start streaming on August 1, according to an official note.

The movie stars Payal Rajput as ACP Kiran, Maanas Nagulapalli, Rajeev Kanakala, Chakrapani Ananda, and Sivannarayana Peddi among others in key roles.

Produced and directed by Prandeep Thakore, Rakshana movie has its music and background score by Mahathi Swara Sagar. Garry BH worked as the editor while Anil Bandari cranked the camera. Thayanidhy Sivakumar wrote the film's screenplay and dialogues. Rajeev Nair headed the Art Direction department.
