Ramoji Rao's Net Worth, Businesses, Awards, & Biography: Media baron Ramoji Rao (87) died after a prolonged illness in Hyderabad at a hospital on June 8. He breathed his last at about 4.50 AM after he was admitted for severe discomfort on June 5. The entire Tollywood and political fraternities are mourning the loss of one legendary personality, who is being condoled by thousands of his employees, well-wishers, and family worldwide.

Born into an agriculture-based family settled in Pedaparupudi village of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh, Ramoji Rao started off his business journey on a humble note. He established Priya Pickles (Priya Foods) and expanded his empire with Margadarsi Chit Fund, Eenadu Telugu newspaper, ETV Channel, Ramadevi Public School, Ramoji Film City, Kalanjali, Usha Kiran Movies, and Dolphin Group of Hotels.

Ramoji Rao was the one who not only envisioned the future but also successfully took at it to make it his profit. To keep up with the trend, he also floated a digital streaming app called ETV Win, under the leadership of his family.
