Ramoji Rao Funeral Date & Time: Legendary media baron and movie mogul Ramoji Rao breathed his last today at the age of 87 in Hyderabad, leaving the entire Tollywood industry in deep shock. The veteran was sick for some time due to respiratory illness and recently underwent heart surgery at Star Hospitals. For the last two days, he was hospitalized for discomfort and was declared dead in the wee hours of Saturday.

Narendra Modi To Tollywood actors and technicians, the employees of the plethora of organizations under the Ramoji Group, have poured in their deepest condolences for the man who was a stellar personality.

Ramoji Rao's Funeral With State Honours

Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana who is currently in Delhi, had reportedly directed the Chief Secretary of the state to arrange for a full state funeral. The Cyberabad commissioner passed orders regarding the same.

The last rites of the media baron will take place at the Ramoji Film City arena on June 9 between 9 AM and 11 AM. The bereaved family members are awaiting the arrival of their kith and kin from abroad.
