Saagu OTT Release Date & Time Out: Saagu is an independent film which has a runtime of 52 minutes. The movie written and directed by Vinay Rathnam features two characters predominantly. Played by Vamsi Thummala and Harika Balla, the movie is going to be released straight on multiple OTT platforms. Niharika Konidela is presenting the film under her production banner.

Speaking at the pre-release press meet, Niharika Konidela said, "Saagu is a special movie to me. In all our lives, there are so many challenges but without losing faith and confidence, we all want to go forward. This movie is surely going to inspire farmers and agriculturists.

The entire movie was shot in just 4 days. I am happy to support this young team who made a film on the life and struggle of farmers. I never had a first-hand experience of farmers' issues but to be part of this genuine attempt gives me pride."

Saagu Synopsis

The movie is the story of Haribabu and Subbalakshmi whose journey of life and love cuts through societal prejudice, discrimination, and biases. Their conviction makes them embark on a transformative phase where they become crucial for bringing water resources to their arid land. The challenges they faced, and how they overcame the troubles, are depicted in an endearing way.

This movie presented by Niharika Konidela's Pink Elephant Productions banner is going to release on multiple OTT platforms on March 4. Niharika's Work Front

The actress-cum-producer who limited herself to production of late, is coming back to acting with Manchu Manoj's upcoming film titled 'What The Fish' in which she is playing the character of Ashta Lakshmi.
