Salaar Part 2 Shouryaangaparvam Shooting To Begin This May: Pan-India star Prabhas' 'Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire,' was a box office phenomenon when it hit the screens on December 22, 2023. The movie, written and directed by Prashanth Neel amassed Rs 750 Crore by the end of its theatrical run and the makers have already announced a continuation to the film titled Salaar Part 2-Shouryaangaparvam.

Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan among a bunch of other talented actors, Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire tells the tale of a fictional city Khansaar, and its politics. A story of intriguing friendship, a relationship between a mother and son was stitched into it.

Salaar Part 2 To Begin Filming In Hyderabad

As per the available information, Prabhas, who is now busy with multiple projects including Salaar Part 2 Shauryaangaparvam, will reportedly take a short break before joining the sets of Salaar 2.

If the buzz is anything to go by, the shooting of Prashanth Neel's high-octane action entertainer will kickstart at the end of May this year. The shooting schedule was planned in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad spanning about 10 days. Several key scenes featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be shot by the crew.

On the other hand, Prashanth Neel, who is also set to direct Jr NTR in a film, is giving final touches to the sequel Salaar 2 Shouryaangaparvam before going on the sets. It is also rumoured that Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in a cameo after the actor and Prashanth Neel met recently.

The makers of the film, Hombale Films are planning to release the movie worldwide in five languages in December 2025.

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire Cast

Prabhas played the role of Devaratha aka Deva, who is also Deva Salaar. Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen in a dual role as Vardharaja Mannar and Siva Mannar. Shruti Haasan played the role of Aadhya Krishnakanth, Deva's love interest. Jagapathi Babu as Raja Mannar, Bobby Simha as Bhaarava, Tinnu Anand as Gaikwad, Ramana as Rinda, Easwari Rao as Deva's mother, Sriya Reddy as Radha Rama Mannar, Vardha's sister, Ramachandra Raju as Rudra have played their characters to perfection with ease. In addition, the movie also stars Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Brahmaji, Shafi, Jhansi, John Vijay, Mime Gopi, Prudhvi Raj, and Simrat Kaur.

Made on a budget of about Rs 270 Crore, Salaar is the production venture of Hombale Films, with Vijay Kiragandur at the helm. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's entire soundtrack and music.
