Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, which was released to a record-breaking reception in five languages and is going to shatter all the box office records of an Indian film. Fans are fully consumed by Prashanth Neel's magic in unveiling Prabhas as Deva.
Salaar Premise
Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu), the ruler of Khansaar wants to make his son Vardharaja Mannar aka Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran) his successor. An internal coup tried to kill Vardha by deploying armies from countries like Russia and Serbia to collapse the entire Khansaar along with Vardha. Vardha eventually escapes the attack and meets with Deva, his childhood best friend. Deva jumps into action to settle scores for his friend.
Salaar Box Office Collection Worldwide
Prabhas' hyped action drama surpassed the Rs 600 Crore mark globally from the five languages it was released on December 22. The movie earned about Rs 320 Crore from India alone. On the other hand, as Salaar is aiming to touch the magic number of Rs 1000 Crore by the time of its closing collection, shockingly, Prabhas' film is lagging in the Andhra Pradesh region, his native place.
When compared, to the two Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, revenue is higher from the Telangana region.
Salaar To Incur Losses In Andhra Pradesh?
Prabhas' highly-awaited film made a pre-release business of Rs 65 Crore in Telangana and earned a share value of Rs 67 Crore. Salaar technically entered the profit-making zone in the Telangana state.
In Andhra Pradesh, Salaar was sold for Rs 55 Crore and the movie so far could manage only Rs 40 Crore. Going by the trend, the movie might end up in a deficit of about 10-15% in Andhra Pradesh. After the second weekend that concluded with New Year's Day, the occupancy ratio for Salaar will see a dip.
Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire Cast
The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.
The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
