Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT Deal: Nani's Upcoming Film By Vivek Athreya Closes A Crazy Deal With THIS Platform

After the emotional drama titled 'Hi Nanna,' hit the screens, Natural star Nani quickly jumped into the sets of his upcoming film with his friend, writer-director Vivek Athreaya's next titled 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.'

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is touted as an intense action drama with thriller elements where the protagonist gets superpowers and becomes a savior. This movie is going to be a pan-India production (with releases in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam) funded by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainment banner, which produced the epic RRR under the direction of SS Rajamouli.

Vivek Athreya and Nani earlier worked together for 'Ante Sundaraniki' which featured Nazriya Nazim as the female lead. The movie remained commercially underwhelmed and received not much of a response. But, it became a sensation for its content after it hit the OTT platform. However, the hopes are high on this 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' which began its shooting recently after the formal pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT Rights Deal Closed

For the very first time in Nani's career, this movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has made a remarkable deal with none other than Netflix India for digital streaming rights. Going by the available information, Netflix bagged the rights for a whopping Rs 45 Crore, including all languages. The movie stands as the highest deal cut for Nani to date.

The movie marks the second collaboration of actress Priyanka Arul Mohan with Nani, after 'Gang Leader.' In addition, actor-writer-director SJ Suryah is signed to play a key role.

Vivek Athreya is the writer-director of the film, which marks their second collaboration after 'Ante Sundaraniki.' DVV Danayya is producing the film under the DVV Entertainment banner. Jakes Bejoy will compose the film's entire background score and music while Murali G is cranking the camera.
