SS Rajamouli To Direct An Animation Film Soon? The Filmmaker Reveals

Baahubali Crown Of Blood: SS Rajamouli is one of the biggest directors we have in the Indian film industry. His movies have not just left a mark in India, but have also created a strong impact internationally. Now, he is venturing into OTT space with the series Baahubali Crown Of Blood. It's an animated series which will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar, and Rajamouli is the creator of the show.

Recently, a press conference was organised which was attended by the series team including SS Rajamouli and Sharad Kelkar. The latter has given his voice as Baahubali in the Hindi version of the series as well.

At the press conference, when Rajamouli was asked if he would like to direct an animation movie, the filmmaker said, "It has been on my mind for a very long time. My way of working is like as I keep making films, I keep learning things which will enable me to venture into new areas in my forthcoming films. Not just my films, but people I associate with and talk to, I try to learn things which will help me go forward."

"For a long time, I have nurtured the thought of making an animated film. Eega that I made, it had a part which is animated, and now, my association with Sharad (Devrajan) and Disney+ Hotstar, all these things for me are to learn how the things are working. It helps me develoip my tools and skills to make a film one day," he added.

Baahubali Crown Of Blood Release Date

Well, let's hope that soon Rajamouli makes an animated movie. Meanwhile, Baahubali Crown of Blood is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 17th May 2024.
