Superstar Mahesh Babu has jetted off to the USA to welcome the New Year 2024 with his family. The actor completed the shooting of his much-awaited and hyped film with writer-director Trivikram Srinivas titled Guntur Kaaram. The movie marks the third collaboration of the actor-director duo. Sreeleela played the film's female lead along with Meenakshi Chaudhary.
When SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's coming together was announced, fans of the duo went into a tizzy out of sheer excitement. The movie, referred to as SSMB 29 is touted to be a period adventure action drama which showcases Mahesh Babu in a new avatar, on the similar lines of Indiana Jones. The reference also makes us remember the actor's 'Takkari Donga' days.

Rajamouli has been working on the pre-production of his biggest film yet, after the epic RRR for a long time. His father, writer Vijayendra Prasad completed script work and story enhancements for this globe-trotting drama which was set against the backdrop of South Africa and will feature many other countries. The movie will go on floors from April 2024.
SSMB 29 To Be Made On A Mammoth Budget Of Rs 100O Crore?
The makers of the film are involved in procuring the mega-sized budget of Rs 1000 Crore for SSMB 29, which is going on floors very soon. At first, it was said that the movie might surpass the budget of Rs 500 Crore but as per the latest buzz, the budget will be touching about Rs 1000 Crore, which is going to be the first Indian film to attempt the feat. Given the names like SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu coming together, the budget for SSMB 29 is record-high. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.
Priyanka Chopra In Talks For SSMB 29?
According to the information that is doing the rounds on the internet, SS Rajamouli and the producers of SSMB 29 are reportedly in talks with Priyanka Chopra, the global actress for the film's female lead. Meanwhile, Guntur Kaaram is gearing up for a huge worldwide theatrical release on January 12 for the Sankranthi festival. Thaman S composed the film's entire background score and music.
