Telangana DGP Responds To Allu Arjun: Telangana's Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender emphasized the need for citizens to act responsibly in light of recent events, including the Sandhya Theatre incident. Speaking at the inauguration of the Bharosa Centre (Telangana Police Women Safety Wing) in Kothapalli, Karimnagar district, the DGP indirectly addressed actor Allu Arjun, urging the public to understand the larger context of such situations.

"We are not personally opposed to anyone," Jitender stated. "The safety and protection of citizens is our top priority. While he may be a film hero, it is essential to understand the ground-level realities. Such incidents are detrimental to public safety, and movie promotions should not take precedence over the well-being of citizens," he added, as reported by Eenadu Telugu.

Telangana DGP Highlights Commitment To Women And Children's Safety

Jitender further assured the public that the Telangana government is fully committed to the safety of women and children. "We are working around the clock for the safety of the public. The establishment of Bharosa Centres is a result of the Telangana government's initiative, and this has been appreciated by the Supreme Court. Officials from other states have also visited these centers," he explained.

The DGP also revealed that the state plans to expand the Bharosa Centres to every district, aimed at improving safety for women and children. "Any woman facing difficulties can approach these centers, where legal experts and doctors will be available to resolve their issues," he concluded, highlighting the importance of these centers in providing comprehensive support.
