Satyam Rajesh's Tenant On Aha Video Along With Amazon Prime Video: Tenant is Satyam Rajesh's latest thriller film which was co-written and directed by Y Yugandhar. The movie was released theatrically on April 19 to mixed-to-negative reviews for the way the story was narrated.

After registering a terrific box office success with 'Polimera 2,' the hyped horror-thriller in which Satyam Rajesh played the protagonist, there were expectations on Tenant and the theatrical trailer was impressive. However, the movie did not perform well at the ticket windows.

Tenant Synopsis

Gowtham (Satyam Rajesh) marries his childhood sweetheart Sandhya (Megha Chowdary), who is from his family. They live a happy life in Hyderabad. Suddenly, Sandhya stops talking to Gowtham and avoids him. One day, Sandhya is found dead on the bed. On the same day, Gowtham's neighbour Rishi (Bharath Kanth) also tries to commit suicide by jumping off the balcony. What did Gowtham do? What happened to Sandhya? Who killed her? How are Rishi and Sandhya connected?

The movie made its silent digital debut through the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video on June 7 without prior announcement. After many days, the movie is now going to hit another OTT platform Aha Video on June 28, an official announcement stated. Despite the movie failing to grab attention during its theatrical run, it is doing pretty well on the OTT platform, reportedly.

The movie stars Satyam Rajesh, Aadukalam Naren, Esther Noronha, Megha Chowdary, Chandana Payyavula, Ramya Kolthuri, Anurag Binnu, Dhana Bala, and Bharath Kanth among others in key roles.

The movie was written and directed by Y Yugandhar, who also worked on the film's screenplay. Mogulla Chandrashekhar Reddy bankrolled the movie under the Mahateja Creations banner. Sahityya Sagar composed the film's background score and music while Vijay Mukthavarapu was the editor. YS Srinivasa Varma, and Rohin Kumar Yeturi are part of the writing team.
