The movie was released worldwide on September 5 in Tamil and Telugu.

GOAT Synopsis

Gandhi (Vijay) is a successful member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS) and is known for his terrorist mission in Kenya, under the leadership of Menon (Mohan). While in Bangkok, Gandhi finds out that his son Jeevan (Vijay) is dead and years later is shocked to see Jeevan alive and kicking in Russia. After they come home, unusual events start forcing Gandhi to uncover the truth behind Jeevan's disappearance and reappearance.

The movie opened to a thrilling reception at the box office worldwide in Tamil and Telugu. The movie's Telugu rights business earned Rs 21 Crore and already earned about Rs 3 Crore on its opening day from the Telugu version. In India, the GOAT movie earned about Rs 43 crore.
