BJP MP, Actor Ravi Kishan Makes Controversial Statements: Allu Arjun's villain and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan, who is the Gorakhpur MP from the BJP party, made a shocking speech during a religious event recently. The MP took the opportunity and voice out his religious concerns around the Tirupati Laddu controversy and made sort of a hate speech that could ignite communal riots.

In his video clip that is going viral, Ravi Kishan said, "Today, we need weapons along with sastras. If you see, in the Balaji temple, Hindus are being given laddus made by Mutton-based, and Beef-based laddus. Those who are running the temple are not Hindus. We need to think about what is happening to Hindus. Now time has come."

Below is the video.

The issue and controversy around the 'Tirumala Tirupati' temple's laddu prasadam began when Andhra Pradesh's CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu made allegedly baseless comments about mixing "animal fats" in the making of laddus using ghee. The reports he submitted did not substantiate his claims and drew nationwide outrage from Hindus, religious groups, and other people who are disappointed at large.

While many netizens and rational thinkers opined that Chandrababu Naidu pulled out a dirty and ugly controversy for political vendetta, his speech instigated communal feelings among those who are vegetarians and staunch devotees. On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu's idea of slandering the past government and its leader, former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, backfired as the Tirupati Laddu controversy snowballed into a national issue.

Meanwhile, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is now facing accusations for the issue wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a CBI investigation into the issue. Chandrababu Naidu and his Dy CM Pawan Kalyan are not taking a stand as to involving the CBI to probe the facts concerning the adulteration of Tirupati laddu prasadam, which hurt the feelings and beliefs of tens of thousands of people. Rationalists and communists fear communal riots in the state and the country as religion is a sensitive topic and politicians are wielding it for their personal benefit.
