Tollywood Meets Telangana CM Revanth Reddy: In the aftermath of Sandhya theatre concerning Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 The Rule's Benefit show mishap, the Telangana Chief Minister directed the Hyderabad Police to take stringent action and not let the culprits escape punishment. Allu Arjun's subsequent arrest and bail, followed by Police filing cancellation of bail have become a sensation in Tollywood over a couple of days. Finally, Tollywood personalities met the CM officially at the CMO on December 26.
Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy mentioned that they will extend their complete support for the growth and expansion of the Telugu film industry and the government is not against it. As a CM, he also informed that the actors and film personalities should take responsibility for their fans and bouncers. "We will take strict action on any movie event that will affect public life," he stated.
Tollywood's bigwigs comprising Raghavendra Rao, TFC President-cum-producer Dil Raju, Suresh Productions Suresh Babu, Asian Suniel Narang, Allu Aravind, Supriya Yarlagadda, Mythri Movie Makers producers, Chinababu, Shyam Prasad Reddy, K.L. Narayana, and Bhogavalli Prasad.

The meeting was caused due to CM Revanth Reddy's serious response towards the unfortunate incident at Sandhya 70 MM theatre concerning Allu Arjun and his release of Pushpa 2 The Rule. The Chief Minister who was reportedly furious about the incident played a video footage of the mishap for the Tollywood representatives.
Revanth Reddy Denies Permissions For Benefit Shows & Ticket Hike
While Tollywood showered appreciation and felicitated Revanth Reddy with shawls and bouquets, Revanth Reddy clarified that there would be no permissions for Benefit Shows henceforth. With the crucial season of Sankranti around the corner, Tollywood is seeking special rates on tickets and special shows for big releases.
