Telugu TV Industry Shaken by Tragic Love Story of Pavitra Jayaram and Challa Chandrakanth

Following the tragic death of actress Pavithra Jayaram, known for her role in "Seetha Rama Chandra Swamy" and "Trinayanai", the Telugu TV industry faces another loss. Pavitra's co-star and lover, actor Challa Chandrakanth, committed suicide. Chandu hanged himself at his home in Alkapur Colony, under the Narsingi Police Station limits in Rangareddy district. Police are investigating his death.

Chandu was married with two children but had been living with Pavithra for the past few years. Last Sunday, Pavithra died in a road accident, leaving Chandu heart-broken. Chandu was also in the car and survived the crash with some injuries. Unable to bear her loss, Chandu fell into depression and started posting photos and videos of them on social media. He even claimed that the duo want to go public about their relationship after coming to Hyderabad.

Before taking his life, Chandrakanth gave an emotional interview to a YouTube channel. He wished God had taken him instead of Pavithra. He shared how they fell in love while playing villain characters in a project. During a scene where Pavithra's saree was set on fire, an inexperienced crew member used too much spirit, causing a large fire.

Fifteen people tried to extinguish the fire with their mouths. Pavithra lost consciousness, and Chandrakanth slapped her twice to revive her. They rushed her to the hospital. The doctor said the slaps saved her life. This incident marked the beginning of their bond.

Pavithra thought, "He saved my life; let me do something for him." But there was no relationship between them at that time. After recovering, she returned to shooting. Chandrakanth asked if she had eaten and taken her tablet, which made Pavithra take a liking for him.

She began caring for his health, and their bond grew stronger. Both families misunderstood their relationship and disapproved of it. They convinced their families to give some time. They faced many problems over five years. Chandrakanth clarified that what he experienced with Pavithra was not just a relationship but she was his entire life.

Chandrakanth lamented that just when they thought they could live well despite societal pressures, Pavithra was gone. His emotional video is currently going viral on social media.
