As per Sacnilk's early reports, Vettaiyan made a collection of Rs. 0.43 Crore on Saturday as of now. We can not expect the movie to cross 1 Crore on Day 16 as well. On the previous day, Vettaiyan made a collection Rs. 0.80 Crore. The majority of the collection has been done in Telugu since it is the primary language of the movie. Until now, Vettaiyan has made India net collection of Rs. 142.63 Crore.

When talked about worldwide collection, Vettaiyan has grossed Rs. 245.75 Crore. On 16th Day, Vettaiyan's overseas collection was of Rs. 79.50 Crore.

Vettaiyan OTT Release

Vettaiyan is reported to be releasing on OTT post-Diwali. Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan starrer will probably release on Amazon Prime Video on November 7, 2024. Apart from Rajinikanth and Amitabh, the movie features Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami. The movie is directed by TJ Gnanavel. Talking about featuring Rajinikanth and Amitabh together, the filmmaker said, "Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were cast together, purely because the story demanded it. When I approached Fahadh Faasil and Rana Dauggubati they asked me why they were required in the film when two legends are already there in it, to which I said the story needs these actors. This is a multi starrer. Casting all these actors isn't for business purpose, but it's done for the story."
