Viswam OTT Release Date & Platform: After a very long time, filmmaker Sreenu Vaitla is back on the big screen with a movie named Viswam, starring Gopichand. The action drama with the director's trademark comedy was released worldwide on October 11 to low-key buzz. Post its theatrical release, Viswam earned mixed responses from the critics.

Viswam Synopsis

Gopi (Gopichand) is in love with Sameera (Kavya Thapar). He comes to Hyderabad from Italy to meet her. A series of scenes then reveals to Sameera that Gopi is Viswam. Who is Viswam and why did he become Gopi? Why he saves a little girl Darshana from the terrorists forms the crux of the Viswam movie.

Gopichand and Sreenu Vaitla's collaboration sparked interest among the fans but the makers have failed to keep them hooked to the movie until its theatrical release. The comedy part of the film worked out well but otherwise, the movie has a routine story, opined the reviewers. The film was released on 1t November 2024 on Prime Video.
