World Hello Day 2024: Creator Sriya Janvi Shares Her Journey With Josh & How It Helped Her Improve Her Passion

Josh is one of the popular short video making app in India which enjoys a massive following and it has managed to carve a niche for itself in the market. While several creators have got a chance to enhance their skills and reach out to the audience showcasing their talent, Josh has also been an opportunity for many to grow. And on the occasion of World Hello Day, creator Sriya Janvi got candid about her inspiring journey as a content creator.

For the uninitiated, Sriya Janvi is 21 years old content creator from Odisha who is working with Accenture. However, apart from a decent career in IT firm, Sriya's passion for acting drew her to content creation and Josh became her knight with a shining armour which helped her share her creativity.

"As an artist, I focus on bringing authentic expressions and emotions to my content. My work on Josh is inspired by real-life experiences and my love for storytelling. I believe what makes my content unique is the blend of my cultural background and my enthusiasm for acting. Each video I create is a chance to connect with people, make them feel something, or simply entertain them," Sriya was quoted saying.

Speaking about her journey with Josh, Sriya stated, "I started using Josh a while ago as a creative outlet. It was a perfect platform to share my passion for acting without needing a professional setup. Initially, it was tough as I had no support, and many people didn't understand why I was doing it. Over time, though, I connected with a community of viewers and creators who appreciate and support my work. This journey has been full of growth and learning. Through Josh, I've been able to generate a passive income, which has been impactful in many ways. It's not only helped me financially but has also allowed me to invest in improving my content. This income is more than just money; it's a reflection of the value my content brings to others, which is incredibly fulfilling"

However, balancing passion with profession hasn't been a cakewalk for Sriya. "Balancing a job in Accenture with content creation on Josh has been challenging, especially without much initial support. There are times when it feels overwhelming, but I remind myself why I started. There's a lot of trial and error, late nights, and sometimes even doubts. But each milestone, like gaining followers or positive feedback from viewers, is a huge achievement that keeps me motivated," she added.

Furthermore, Sriya shared her future plans and emphasised, "In the future, I plan to continue improving my craft as a content creator and explore more acting opportunities. For aspiring artists, my advice would be to believe in yourself, even when others don't. It's important to be consistent, embrace failures as learning steps, and most importantly, to enjoy the process of creating. Balancing my dreams, personal life, and professional commitments is tough, but I've learned to prioritize and make time for what truly matters. Pursuing my passion alongside my job has been challenging but also rewarding. It's a journey of self-discovery, and I'm grateful for every part of it, especially the opportunity to share my dreams with others".
