8 Vasantalu OTT Release: 8 Vasantalu, the Telugu-language romance-drama directed by Phanindra Narsetti, is set to make its digital debut on Netflix. The film, which was released in theaters on June 20, 2025, will begin streaming on July 11. Netflix confirmed the release on its official social media channels, stating that the film will be available in four languages-Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

In their announcement, Netflix wrote: "8 Vasantalu. Thanu preminchindhi, odipoyindhi... edhigindhi. Watch 8 Vasantalu on Netflix, out 11 July in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam." This marks the film's transition from theatrical run to home viewing, offering an opportunity for audiences who may have missed it on the big screen.

A Story That Unfolds Across Eight Years

8 Vasantalu tells the story of Shuddhi, a young woman dealing with the emotional aftermath of losing her father, who served in the Indian Army. Raised in Ooty by her mother, Shuddhi finds solace in martial arts and writing. As the years pass, she falls in love with Varun, and their relationship sets her on a path of personal growth, heartbreak, and self-discovery. The film spans eight years in her life, exploring how her identity evolves through love and loss.

The cast includes Ananthika Sanilkumar as Shuddhi, along with Ravi Duggirala, Hanu Reddy, Kanna Pasunoori, and others in pivotal roles. The film was produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar.

Phanindra Narsetti, who also wrote the script, helms the project. The cinematography was managed by Vishwanath Reddy, with music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Editing duties were handled by Shashank Mali, and sound design was done by Sync Cinema.
