Agent OTT Release Date Confirmed: When & Where To Watch Akhil Akkineni And Mammootty’s Film Online

Agent OTT Release Date: Telugu spy action thriller Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and penned by Vakkantham Vamsi, brings together an exciting ensemble cast led by Mammootty and Akhil Akkineni. Produced by Anil Sunkara and Rambrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Sakshi Vaidya and Dino Morea, who appear alongside Vikramjeet Virk.

Announced in September 2020, Agent was filmed across diverse locations, including Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam, and Manali. However, the film's release faced multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production challenges. Eventually hitting the screens on April 28, 2023, Agent received a mixed-to-negative response from critics.

Agent is set to make its digital premiere on March 14 on SonyLIV. Announcing the film's OTT release date, the platform shared on social media: "Spy mode on. The mission is LIVE! Agent Storyline

Aspiring RAW agent Ricky is recruited by Chief Mahadev for a high-stakes mission to infiltrate a dangerous terrorist network, The Syndicate. Led by rogue ex-agent Dharma, the group plans to unleash a deadly virus. As Ricky navigates deception, betrayals, and intense action, he must outsmart Dharma to prevent catastrophe and prove his worth as a true spy.

Agent Cast and Crew

Agent features Mammootty as RAW Chief Colonel Mahadev, also known as "The Devil" and "Guruji," while Akhil Akkineni plays Ramakrishna "Ricky," codenamed "Wild Saala." Dino Morea portrays Dharma, also known as "The God." Sakshi Vaidya appears as Vidya, an aspiring pilot training officer at NASA. The cast includes Vikramjeet Virk as Deva, Denzil Smith as Abhijeet Mehta, Sampath Raj as Jitendra Reddy, Murali Sharma and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Ricky's parents, and Posani Krishna Murali as Shiva. Anish Kuruvilla plays Ramesh, with Urvashi Rautela making a special appearance in the song "Wild Saala."

The film Agent is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, with Anil Sunkara as the presenter. Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the story, while Hip Hop Thamizha composed the music. Rasool Ellore handled cinematography, and Naveen Nooli served as the editor. The film's stunts were choreographed by Vijay Master and Stun Shiva, with Avinash Kolla as the art director. The publicity and marketing were managed by Viswa CM and CZONE Digital Network, respectively, while Lohith Konjarla edited the trailer.
