Agent OTT Release Date: The Telugu spy action thriller Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi, features an exciting ensemble cast led by Mammootty and Akhil Akkineni. Produced by Anil Sunkara and Rambrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Sakshi Vaidya and Dino Morea, who star alongside Vikramjeet Virk.

Announced in September 2020, Agent was shot across various locations, including Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam, and Manali. However, its release was delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production challenges. The film eventually hit theaters on April 28, 2023, but received a mixed-to-negative response from critics.

After a prolonged delay of nearly two years, Akhil Akkineni's Agent is finally set to make its OTT debut. According to an official announcement, the film will premiere on SonyLIV on March 14, making it available for streaming in multiple languages from tonight. Additionally, there is speculation that the film could be released a few hours earlier than the scheduled date.

Agent Storyline

Aspiring RAW agent Ricky is handpicked by Chief Mahadev for a critical mission to infiltrate The Syndicate, a notorious terrorist organization. The group, led by former rogue agent Dharma, is plotting to unleash a deadly virus. As Ricky battles deception, betrayals, and high-octane action, he must outwit Dharma to avert disaster and establish himself as a formidable spy.

Agent Cast and Crew

Agent stars Mammootty as RAW Chief Colonel Mahadev, also known as The Devil and Guruji, while Akhil Akkineni takes on the role of Ramakrishna "Ricky," codenamed Wild Saala. Dino Morea plays Dharma, also referred to as The God. Sakshi Vaidya portrays Vidya, an aspiring pilot training officer at NASA. The ensemble cast includes Vikramjeet Virk as Deva, Denzil Smith as Abhijeet Mehta, Sampath Raj as Jitendra Reddy, Murali Sharma and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Ricky's parents, and Posani Krishna Murali as Shiva. Anish Kuruvilla appears as Ramesh, while Urvashi Rautela makes a special appearance in the song Wild Saala.

Directed by Surender Reddy, Agent is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, with Anil Sunkara presenting the film. Vakkantham Vamsi has crafted the story, while Hip Hop Thamizha composed the music. Cinematography is by Rasool Ellore, with Naveen Nooli handling editing. The film's action sequences were choreographed by Vijay Master and Stun Shiva, and Avinash Kolla served as the art director. Publicity and marketing were managed by Viswa CM and CZONE Digital Network, while Lohith Konjarla edited the trailer.
