Akhanda 2 Box Office Collection: Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has completed two days at the domestic box office with collections crossing the ₹46 crore mark, according to early estimates from industry trackers. The Telugu fantasy action thriller, which released in theaters on December 12, is currently running in its third day today, December 14, with Sunday figures expected to further shape its opening weekend performance.
As per figures reported by Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹ 46.1 crore net in India across all languages in its first two days. The collections include revenue from Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. The film opened with paid previews on Thursday, followed by a full-fledged theatrical release on Friday.
The opening day, including previews, contributed around ₹30.5 crore to the total, while Saturday saw an estimated ₹15.6 crore added to the tally. While the second day witnessed a drop compared to the opening day, trade observers point out that weekend trends and Sunday occupancy will be key in assessing the film's short-term box office trajectory.

Directed and written by Boyapati Sreenu, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is the sequel to the 2021 film Akhanda. The film is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Ishan Saksena under the banners of 14 Reels Plus and IVY Entertainment. The cast includes Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Harshaali Malhotra in prominent roles alongside Balakrishna.
The film has been released in both 2D and 3D formats, with screens spread across major centers in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other parts of India. Music for the sequel is composed by Thaman S, while cinematography is handled by C Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae. Editing duties are managed by Tammiraju, with art direction by AS Prakash.
