According to a report published in Sacnilk, Akhanda 2 recorded an occupancy of 60% on the opening day during the evening shows. Interestingly, it has failed to beat the opening day evening occupancy of Akhanda which happens to be around 65.39%

To note, Akhanda 2 has witnessed a decent response at the box office on the opening day. As per Sacnilk, Akhanda 2 made a collection of Rs 10.97cr until 7:30 PM today (day 1/ first Friday). It will be interesting to see if it will be able to mint Rs 15cr on its day of release.

Meanwhile, Samyukta, during a conversation with 123Telugu, got candid about her role in Akhanda 2 and stated, "It will be extremely stylish. My role becomes very significant in a key sequence. I was told that I should perform a song, which made me nervous. I haven't done such a mass song earlier. I decided to give my best, but my knees didn't cooperate. Later, I underwent physiotherapy. We must entertain the audience. That's the final goal of an artist".
