Akhanda 2 Cast Salary: The Telugu fantasy action drama Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus, was initially scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025. Presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, alongside Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Kabir Duhan Singh.

However, the makers of the film, 14 Reels Plus, announced that Akhanda 2 will not be releasing as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances. In a statement, the production house expressed regret over the sudden postponement, acknowledging the disappointment for fans and moviegoers. They added that efforts are underway to resolve the matter and promised to share a positive update soon.

Akhanda 2 was reportedly postponed after a Madras High Court stayed its release over pending dues of nearly Rs 28 crore to Eros International Media Limited, though 14 Reels Plus has not officially confirmed these details. The postponement of Akhanda 2 has only added to the curiosity surrounding the film, including its production scale and the remuneration of its cast and crew. Industry reports highlight the significant investments in the film, reflecting the financial expectations attached to the project.

The OTTplay report indicates that Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has recently enjoyed a successful run with multiple consecutive hits, received Rs 72 crore for reprising his role in the sequel. If true, the actor's remuneration stands out as one of the highest in Telugu cinema for a single project. Director Boyapati Sreenu, who has consistently collaborated with Balakrishna, is said to have received Rs 45 crore for helming the project. However, these numbers have not been officially confirmed.
