Nandamuri Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 In Trouble? After delivering career-defining films with Nandamuri Balakrishna- Simha, Legend, and Akhanda- Boyapati Srinu reunited with the veteran, who is on a success spree. The duo came together for the sequel of Akhanda titled Akhanda 2 which was officially launched by the actor's two daughters at a special puja event. The makers of this prestigious sequel began the filming at the Maha Kumbh mela, giving it a spiritual start. The filmmakers want to bring Akhanda 2 Thandavam to the big screens worldwide on September 25 in multiple languages.

Akhanda 2 Shooting Comes To A Halt?

A rumour about Akhanda 2 and Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing the rounds in the entertainment industry, which is concerning for fans. The piece of information says that the veteran was upset with director Boyapati and is not cooperating with the film's shooting. Due to these differences, the filming of the sequel has come to an abrupt halt.

However, in the latest update, it has been revealed through unnamed sources that there wasn't any misunderstanding as such between the actor and director. In addition, the filming is currently on and the makers want to shoot key scenes with Balakrishna in the Himalayas. Also, for now, Akhanda 2 Thandavam is the only movie Balakrishna is working on and it is highly unlikely that anything of such development, mentioned sources, according to a few reports.

Akhanda 2: Cast & Crew

The sequel stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Aadi Pinisetty (antagonist), Jagapathi Babu, Pragya Jaiswal, Kavya Thapar, Akshara Nunna, Ajay Purkar, and SJ Suryah among others in key roles. Samyuktha Menon is also rumoured to have been roped in for the film in addition to several actors with pan-India image.

Anil Ravipudi is said to have worked on the film's story and script with Boyapati Srinu. Thaman is composing the film's music and score, reuniting with the actor-director. Gopi Achanta and Raam Achanta are funding this mega budget project on a whopping scale under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
