Akhandha 2 UAE Review: Akhanda 2 is gearing up for a major release on 12 December 2025, reaching audiences across India and overseas. The film will arrive in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, and also in 3D. Makers are targeting a wide theatrical footprint, with expectations shaped by the huge popularity of the first Akhanda. Buzz around the sequel has grown stronger after a sudden postponement earlier this month, which pushed the release to December 2025. Interestingly, Akhanda 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year owing to the massive success of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu's Akhanda which had released in 2021.

To note, Akhanda 2 features Nandamuri Balakrishna returning in a dual role of Akhanda Rudra Sikandar Ghora and Murali Krishna. Samyuktha Menon again plays the female lead, continuing the arc from the first film. On the other hand, Aadhi Pinisetty joins the cast as a key antagonist. Harshaali Malhotra features in an important part, and Akhanda 2 marks Harshaali Malhotra's debut in Telugu cinema. Directed by Boyapati Srinu with Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta producing under the 14 Reels Plus banner, Akhanda 2 is mounted on a larger budget than Akhanda, with makers aiming for grander visuals and scale. According to a viral tweet shared by London based self proclaimed critic Umari Sandhu, Akhanda 2 got a rating of 3 stars. He wrote, "#Akhanda2 is Paisa Vasool Mass Entertainer for hardcore #Balakrishna Fans ! It has Action, Loud dialogues baazi & Citii maar Climax for strictly masses".

Another tweet from UAE & Pakistan based critic wrote, "#Akhanda2FirstReview 1.5/5⭐ 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀. It's not a Bad movie, it is Atrociously terrible".

Meanwhile, Samyukta, during a conversation with 123Telugu, got candid about her role in Akhanda 2 and stated, "It will be extremely stylish. My role becomes very significant in a key sequence. I was told that I should perform a song, which made me nervous. I haven't done such a mass song earlier. I decided to give my best, but my knees didn't cooperate. Later, I underwent physiotherapy. We must entertain the audience. That's the final goal of an artist".
