Akhil Akkineni's Next Is Titled Lenin: On the occasion of Akhil Akkineni's birthday, the makers of his upcoming action-drama released the title teaser making the official announcement on April 8. The movie written and directed by Kishor Abburu showcases the youngster in a never-seen-before avatar with a mass makeover.

Akhil has been waiting to make an impact ever since his debut in 2015. Except for 'Most Eligible Bachelor' which was released in 2021 starring Pooja Hegde, the actor's filmography is very bland with his recent film, the hyped action-thriller co-starring Mammootty titled 'Agent.' The movie was written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy. After the movie ended up a disaster straight after its theatrical debut, Akhil took a much-needed break.

The 31-year-old is now gearing up with a new film that has an interesting story and comes from a thrilling genre. Sreeleela is the film's female lead and Akhil attempted a raw and rustic character for the first time in Lenin. His look in the film impressed his fans and movie buffs as the actor's character was based out of a village.

The movie is a joint production by Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainment banners. S Thaman is working on the film's music and score. Navin Nooli has been roped in as the editor and Naveen Kumar is cranking the camera. The movie's Production Design is by Avinash Kolla.

On the personal front, Akhil Akkineni is set to tie the nuptial knot with Zainab Rajdvee, a painter and a family friend of the Akkineni's. Their engagement happened in November last year and the wedding prep is currently on.
