Andhra King Taluka Box Office Collection: Andhra King Taluka - A Biopic of a Fan, starring Ram Pothineni alongside Upendra and Bhagyashri Borse, opened in theaters worldwide on November 27. Helmed by director Mahesh Babu P and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, the film features music by Vivek & Mervin.
On its opening day, the film recorded an estimated ₹4.25 crore net at the Indian box office, according to figures from tracking portal Sacnilk. This marks a moderate start for the Ram Pothineni starrer, which arrived in cinemas yesterday.
Star-Studded Cast And Strong Technical Crew
The story follows the life of a devoted fan, with Ram Pothineni in the titular role, supported by performances from Upendra, Bhagyashri Borse, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh, among others. The film's narrative and screenplay were crafted by Mahesh Babu P, who also directed the project.
In terms of technical contributions, Siddhartha Nuni handled the primary cinematography, with George C. Williams assisting as additional director of photography. Editing was managed by Sreekar Prasad, while production design came from Avinash Kolla. Costume designs were developed by Deepali Noor and Ashwin Mawle, and fight sequences were coordinated by Pruthvi. The VFX work was overseen by Satish Krishna Yalamarthi and Raghav Tammareddy, with post-production and visual supervision by Boppana Satyanarayana.
The film was co-presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under T-Series Films, with Shiv Chanana listed as co-producer and Neeraj Kalyan serving as president of T-Series. Marketing efforts were handled by First Show Audio, with DI work completed by Annapurna Studios.
While opening day collections indicate a modest start, the film's performance over the weekend and audience response will determine its trajectory at the box office. Day two collections are expected to provide further insights into its reception across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as well as other regions.
