Andhra King Taluka Box Office Collection Day 6

Andhra King Taluka Box Office Collection: Andhra King Taluka - A Biopic of a Fan, starring Ram Pothineni, completed six days at the Indian box office on December 2, with its total collection standing at an estimated ₹17.05 crore nett. The film, which was released worldwide on November 27, continues its theatrical run on Day 7 today, December 3, amid a steady but fluctuating trend in daily earnings, as reported by the box office tracking website Sacnilk.

Andhra King Taluka opened on a strong note on its first Thursday, collecting ₹4.15 crore across all languages. The bulk of the revenue came from the Telugu version at ₹4.13 crore, with the Kannada version contributing ₹0.02 crore. On Friday, the film witnessed a noticeable drop, earning ₹3.1 crore, reflecting a decline of over 25 percent compared to its opening day. Despite the dip, collections picked up again over the weekend.

Saturday saw an increase with ₹3.65 crore added to the total, followed closely by ₹3.7 crore on Sunday. The weekend hold helped the film stabilize its overall tally in the early phase of its run. However, like many theatrical releases, Andhra King Taluka saw a sharp fall once the weekdays resumed. On its first Monday, the film collected ₹1.3 crore, marking a significant drop from Sunday. Tuesday further dipped to an estimated ₹1.15 crore, based on rough early data. With this, the film closed its first six days with a cumulative total of ₹17.05 crore.

Story, Cast, and Box Office Outlook

Directed and written by Mahesh Babu P, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The story places the spotlight on the culture of fan devotion through the character of Sagar, portrayed by Ram Pothineni. Set in the mid-2000s, the narrative follows Sagar, a devoted admirer of popular actor Surya Kumar, widely known as the "Andhra King." The film traces the developments around Surya Kumar's milestone 100th film and how a series of unexpected events bring the actor and his fan into close contact. Through this interaction, the story examines ambition, personal struggle, and the emotional bond between a star and his follower.

Upendra plays a key role in the film alongside Ram Pothineni, with Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh, among others. Music for the film is composed by the duo Vivek-Mervin, while cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni. Editing is by Sreekar Prasad, and the production design is by Avinash Kolla.

As the film enters its seventh day in theaters today, trade observers will be closely watching how the collections hold on subsequent weekdays. Weekend performance played a crucial role in boosting the overall figures so far, but the sustainability of the run will depend on audience turnout through the remainder of the first week and into the second.
