Arya 2 Re-release Advance Bookings: Allu Arjun & Kajal Aggarwal-starrer Sukumar's Film Touches Rs 1.8 Crore

Arya 2 Re-release Advance Bookings: Allu Arjun's popular film Arya 2, which earned the cult status over time, was written and directed by Sukumar in his second collaboration with Allu Arjun following his directorial debut with 'Arya.' The movie which has its all-time successful music album by Devi Sri Prasad stars Kajal Aggarwal and Navdeep in key roles. The movie earned mixed reactions with critics praising the performances and music. Arya 2 produced by BVSN Prasad and Aditya Prasad remained a commercially unsuccessful film upon its theatrical release in November of 2009.

On the eve of Allu Arjun's birthday, the makers of the film decided to re-release this cult film on April 5 amid high demand and expectations. Arya 2 movie is going to be one of the highly profitable re-releases in Tollywood. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal's film will open in a couple of theaters and multiplex chains across the two Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The re-release figures for Arya 2 are sensational and the pre-sales touched a record Rs 1.8 Crore already. The opening day advance bookings of Allu Arjun's cult film are lesser than the second day. The second day (Saturday) sold over 30,000 tickets, paving way for a remarkable re-release record for Allu Arjun.

Arya 2 Cast & Crew

Allu Arjun played Arya and Navdeep portrayed the role of Arya's best friend Ajay. Kajal Aggarwal is the mutual love interest Geetha with Shraddha Das as Shanthi. The movie also stars Ajay, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, Sayaji Shinde, Radha Kumari, Venu Madhav, Srinivasa Reddy, Krishnudu, and Devi Charan among others.

Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie's screenplay was rendered by T Prakash and Chandrasekhar T. Ramesh. Vema Reddy wrote the dialogues and B Rajasekar worked as the cinematographer. Marthan K. Venkatesh was the film's editor. Aditya Babu and BVSN Prasad bankrolled the movie under the Aditya Arts banners.
