Baahubali International Re-release On Cards: Prabhas, the pan-India star, and the sought-after actor of the country, is making headlines every day with his upcoming films. For a change, the 'Darling' star is now trending big time on social media for the most exciting news about his epic magnum opus, the 'Baahubali' movie's international re-release. The movie was released eight years ago.

This move has been planned by the makers of the film after Shobu Yarlagadda's earlier tweet dated March 16 in response to Prabhas' fans. The tweet read, "What do you all think? Should we rerelease

Baahubali: The Beginning

When SS Rajamouli and Prabhas reunited for a period action drama, fans were excited, but they absolutely had no idea what was coming. When Baahubali 1 aka 'The Beginning' hit the screens in 2015 after a whirlwind of promotional activity all over the country and the USA, all hell broke loose. The movie became an international sensation with fans and movie buffs raving about the performance and screen presence of Prabhas, Rana, Ramya Krishna, and Anushka. The movie catapulted the stars to a new height and became the biggest success the country has ever known hitherto.

Made on a budget of Rs 180 Crore, Baahubali earned Rs 650.12 Crore at the worldwide box office by the end of its theatrical run. The TRP ratings of the film on its continuous TV telecast were insane. Baahubali is the first movie to open Prabhas' overseas market in Japan, Russia, and etc. The actor now enjoys a humongous fanbase across these countries and all of his films after Baahubali enjoyed a great box office outing. The conclusion, the sequel, was dubbed and released in Chinese as well. Actor Subbaraju along with Rana Daggubati, and SS Rajamouli became popular international celebrities of Indian origin after Baahubali.

Baahubali International Re-release Date

The movie which stars Tamannaah, Nassar, and Rohini among others in pivotal roles will have an enhanced version of re-release internationally and the date is yet to be revealed.

The sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, is an even bigger hit, the highest-grossing film in India of all time before Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule replaced it quite recently. According to the film's official information about the movie's closing collection, Rs 1780.60 Crore was realized from the full-time theatrical run of the sequel which was made on a budget of only Rs 250 Crore.

Baahubali was written by Vijayendra Prasad and SS Rajamouli, the visionary filmmaker who is now working with superstar Mahesh Babu on 'SSMB 29,' directed the film. MM Keeravani's music and background score won appreciation, with Senthil Kumar's cinematography walking away with all the prizes. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor.

Baahubali: The Beginning charts the journey of a lost crown prince, Amarendra Baahubali, who was saved by his grandmother Sivagami Devi (Ramya Krishna). His curiosity about the Mahishmati kingdom leads to the discovery of his origin, his parents, and his purpose.

In addition to the star cast, the movie Baahubali: The Beginning stars Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Adivi Sesh as Bhadrudu, Tanikella Bharani, Kichcha Sudeepa, Prabhakar, who later became known as 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar, Charandeep, John Kokken, and Kalpa Latha in notable roles. Nora Fatehi, Scarlett Mellish and Warnia Hussain appeared in a song titled 'Manohari,' a chartbuster.
